can you please just tell me that when you are making a line graph do you start at the first line with a 1 or do you start a the first line with a zero????
PLEASE DONT GIVE DUMB ANSWERS I REALLY NEED HELP WITH THIS HOMEWORK!!!

I mean like on line paper you know how you right your numbers on the y and x lines.like 0123456789 or 123456789 which one would it be?

it doesn't matter... your scale is your scale

it's customary to start with 0, but if you're data is from 500-1000 or something you can start with 500, just put the little ~ thing on the axis if it doesn't start at 0

It matters what type of graph you are doing. Are you doing a plain number line that ends? One that continues on forever? A distance perspective? Inequality? You need to be more specific. But I'll help with what I think you mean.

Pretend this is the line graph.

If you were graphing, say, x>10, you would do this:

The = represents the shaded line.

To conclude it, you can start with whatever, depending on the equation.

if you mean a ling graph as in math, you plot the points, then you connect them, the line starting from zero and ending after the last point.

I start off with one and the corner of the graph is zero for me.
