I guess it'd be easier to answer if the reason why you think you're going to lose that job was known. If it is because you're in a place where people lose their job for no reason, well indeed you're not losing much. If it is because you're not appreciated or your work is not good enough, then is time to seriously think what you want to do really. Time to move on ;-)
Oh, if you lose your job because of no fault of your own, but another problem, talk to your manager. There may well be a solution, too.

If you live in the USA , go to the state employment office for no fee job listings .
Or , to to a temp agency who charges a fee .
If you live outside the US , IDK , sorry .
