Since majority of our media is "within" the so called box, anyone know of foreign media outlets on the web that I can look into to gain a different perspective?

The sites sbcalif list are far Left wing propaganda sites. Al Jazeera is an Islamist terrorist propaganda site. sbcalif is a "progressive" with an agenda (of subscribing to misinformation).

I like mixing it up with Academic Journals and several foreign papers. The UK's Gaurdian, BBC and al-jeezera is always interesting. Also check out Democracy Now and contrast it with Sharia_Vigilante's suggestions.

You will start to pick up on some interesting stylistic differences that are pretty subtle but amusing to observe.

I like Routers although I find myself using a English accent in my head when I read it :)
