I just talked to my Grandma, and found out what her mom´s name was, and her grandmothers was-her mom was Clara and her grandmother-Rebecca.

Which of these sounds the best, and what middle name would sound good?

Clara Rigna
Rebecca Rigna
Eleanor Rigna

Eleanor Rigna is easily my favorite, both in general and with your last name (I'd avoid a first name also ending with an -a). My only concern would be the possible Eleanor Rigby association -- not that most kids would get it ;) -- but that would depend on the actual pronunciation of the surname. Even then, I don't think it's a negative, but it is something to be aware of.

Clara is nice, and I like the sentiment, but ClaRA RignA would be too repetitive for me. Just not easy to say without it sounding like a stutter or even a bit like Astro, if you know what I mean. Rebecca Rigna has the same problem for me. I'm just not into the alliterative R.R. or the sing-songy A endings of each, though again, I like the meaning behind it.

Since neither is ideal with your last name, have you considered using one as the middle name? Especially since you were looking for suggestions along those lines anyway. ;) Eleanor Clara Rigna, for example, is lovely, and not nearly as problematic when the family name is in the middle. Just a thought! ;)

Another idea might be to use a related or similar name in honor of one of those. For instance, rather than Clara, you might consider Clarice (klar-iss -- ending like Alice -- or klah-rees) or Claribel. You get the idea.

I like Clara the best. That is a great name. I love the name Claire and they are close.
You could do Clara Rebecca if you wanted. It sounds good together. Not fond of Eleanor much.

I love both Clara and Eleanor. I don't really see the appeal of Rebecca. Eleanor Clara or Clara Eleanor would be gorgeous!

With a name like Rigna, you should steer clear of names ending in the "a" sound because it doesn't really flow. But out of those, I would go with Rebecca or Eleanor. Eleanor has an old-school feminine charm about it, but it can also remind people of grandmothers because its one of those names. Rebecca is common and not that special of a name.

Eleanor Rigna reminds me of the Beatle's tune - Eleanor Rigby (or whatever the name of the song was, All the Lonely People, or something.)
I LOVE the name Clara. It's very pretty and not overused at all!
Good luck!

I would say Clara Ringa because it is elegant.I am not sure why, but Eleanor is not as appealing to me. Rebecca almost rhymes with Ringa if you know what i mean. But pick whichever one YOU like the best. They are all beautiful names and any one of those would be great.
Hope I helped, the advice girl
