yes, it is a choice. only you can make or unmake your sense of dignity. if you succumb to baits or goadings that you believe are beneath you, then you have failed in maintaining your dignity. if, on the other hand, you remain steadfast in your decision to be strong and not give in, then your dignity remains intact and you are to be commended for your outstanding self- control. you have proven to yourself that every trace of dignity flows in your veins.

Yes, it is a constant choice. You make those choices everyday. Whether to do good and uphold your dignity. Or give in to some petty/trivial thing that will provide a "want" but will sacrifice dignity.

People with dignity live their daily lives thinking, consciously or subconsciously, that they choose to live a life of dignity. And I admire these people.

Yes. We can choose to live our lives with dignity, or we could to live it as just another loser with no aim in life. Whether or not we maintain a life of dignity and honor is always a conscious choice.

It can be, but I think its more of a way of life, its just the way you are. Dignity is an internal resolve. So for some it will be a choice, for others its just the way they are.

Yes, it is! It's really up to you to stand proud and be different (i.e., maintain your dignity) OR to stand down and be just like the others (i.e., popular but at the expense of your dignity). It is always your call!!!

No , it's not a choice. it's within ourselves, our inner self, when you are being put in a situation where your character and dignity put down by someone who try to humilate you in public or try to put you down. it depends about the place/situation and the people if you know them well or not, it's about tolerance and and let go , sometimes
