go or not go?

i've got a friend that has to go to this going away party for one of her "friends" i'm not really friends with this other person, but i offered to go out of support for my friend. These two had a major falling out and I was going as support. I'm getting mixed messages from my friend. she's saying i'm welcome to come, but I can't tell if I should or not. i know that's not a lot to go on, but please help if you can.
