If they choose to ignore the peoples wishes and the Constitution then maybe they shouldn't get elected.

I hear a lot of buzz issues in the media and debates, but I don't really remember a lot about gun control being a hot topic. It's mostly been Iraq, immigration, abortion, gay marriage, and health care.
But then, I don't watch TV either. Politics isn't a single-issue topic, anyway, so it's silly to vote that way.
Where is your source that the Democrats would have the White House and Congress if it weren't for the gun control issue?

no, the difference is conservative people who think ethics and character matter. gun control has little to do with it. its tax and spend and cut and run at the forefront, as well as a host of other issues. Democrats as republicans arent one issue parties, but at the same time voters can be easily confused and in the liberals case surely are. thats why getting involved does make a difference and your own statements prove one vote can and does county

At the time that Gore was running for President, He was an advocate of gun control, and after that fiasco, many NeWS casts (?polls?) claimed that about 500,000 pro gun rights voters had voted AGAINST GORE for that sole reason !!!!!!
I think the reason no one has brought this subject to light, with a notable amount of publicity, is because HITLARY IS ANTI-GUN OWNERSHIP, ANTI- SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, most of them have learned. Only a very few are active when it comes to gun control, and those are in what could be called safe liberal zones like California or NY?
The rest keep their mouth shut about gun control or fake their belief in gun ownership like Kerry did. Remember his hunting trip. Hilarious!
