This is the situation our client is getting a divorce and we are having trouble dividing his community property. The client inherited a house and 80 acres of lemon grove. His net is $100,000.00 per year of the land. I know that the house and land is not community property but my question is.. Is the income from the property community property?

That would make you an attorney or law firm . . .

And you are not familiar with the laws of your state ?

But we would know , (not even knowing which state) How ?

Um if he is your client wouldn't that make you the person he hired to solve this? I'm sure if he notices you are looking for his legal advice on yahoo he will be upset. If you are an inadequate lawyer find one who isnt.
