this is discharge. its a normal thing that happens daily to all women. it usually begins between the ages of 11-13 (so your about right) but can be as young as 9 or as old as 15, and it leaves a light white/cream/yellow stain on your underwear. you can buy pantyliners (like a little cotton wool type pad thing) in supermarkets and chemists which you put in your underwear to stop it leaving a stain. when you get this discharge, its usually a sign that your periods arent far off, maybe a couple of months to a year away, so get some sanitary towels/pads and keep one in your school bag/pocket so you dont have to be embarassed and go to the nurse when it starts. if you want to know more information on periods, and growing up in general, talk to someone who's been it through it all, like your mum, auntie, older sister/cousin etc or school nurse or doctor, (even dads know some stuff) and its all normal - you're not an alien. a good way of telling when your periods are going to come soon is if you also have underarm hair, pubic hair, your breasts start to grow and maybe bigger hips, and you are around 7 and a half stone (47.5 kg) in weight. it can happen when you are as small as 5 stone though - this is only a guide! you can also look online at http://www.avert.org/puberty2.htm - this is a really clear site explaining all the changes and what they mean! growing up seems strange and sometimes unfair, but it happens to everyone someday and it'll mean you can have babies in the future! good luck xxx

Hun its discharge, could mean its coming soon or you could have it for years before you do. I'm 15 and had it about a year and a half before I started my period. Don't worry about it its a good thing, means you can have a normal healthy family one day not too soon I hope those creatures are hard work even if you work in daycare for six months man I was knackered:P as long as you look after your body relatively well. Even though I got my period when I was 11 you still usually get it afterwards

It's vaginal discharge, it's perfectly normal as long as it doesn't smell bad or itch. I think it starts about a year before your periods.
Maybe you should find someone you can talk to? If you're starting your periods soon, you should know about this stuff.
Wear a pantyliner if you don't want to get it on your underwear.

Its discharge nothing to worry yourself about. If your having pain when peeing or burning, itching it might be a yeast infection curable by some pills or ointment. Just means your growing up into a women. You need to talk to your mom or if you don't have a mom, find someone you can talk to like a teacher, aunt, sister... someone. Maybe bring it up at your next doctors visit and DON"T be embarrassed we women go though this stuff daily.

It's vaginal discharge, if it smells bad or you have pain / itching or burning when you pee it may be a yeast infection.
