THis is a giveaway to my age, but I am sick of trying to answer a Yahoo question - when the person has a million texting abbreviations and I have no idea what they are trying to ask! If you're gonna ask a question, ask it and have the common sense to type out the entire question in plain English for us old-timers!

I'm in my 20s but even I find the illiteracy of TXT-style writing annoying. People don't understand how to communicate clearly - nor do they care.

I can always spot a teenager that way, so I never bother to respond. They always want a quick and easy answer to difficult questions, anyway.

If they don't have time to type politely, they probably won't take time to do anything but scan quickly.

The only thing I say is "Lol" or "Lmao"... so yea... other abbreviations are very annoying though.
