House History?

Ok I just moved into this house and I really want to find out its history because some of my neighbors are telling me its over 100 years old and it used to be a place where people bought train tickets (I live right next to the train tracks). And I have been eperiencing some really strange things, for starters I'll wake up in the middle of the night and hear drumming on my 5 year-old sons drum in his room. Then I would go in there it would stop and he would be sound asleep. Then the second thing I experienced was I was eating dinner in the living room with my husband, while my kids were in the kitchen eating and my sons bedroom door knob started jiggling and it opened a little then closed. So I am really curious I believe it to be a spirit of a young child but I am not sure and would like to find out. Can someone tell me how to find the crime history and deaths and other stuff about my house.

I used to live in a house where there was a woman spirit in a white gown and orange hair that would sit in my chair in the living room and turn the tv on and watch it could see her if I left my bedroom door open I neverfound anything out about that though she wasn't afraid at all she didn't care if we seen her or not so I'm used to this kind of stuff but still curious about it but I moved out of there cause I had a kid and when she was about 4 or 5 she wouldn't sleep in her own room cause she was scared.

start at the county recorder,s office, their should be a list of every one that has owned it, check out the local history at the library

Your county clerks office, should be able to pull past tax and deed records. From these you should be able to get started on digging out, all the information you'd want.

hum...i would go to a spirt detector or what ever its called. sounds interesting!
