I found this very cool site last night. It is a free Introduction to Screenwriting Class. It goes through all the steps - give it a shot. It is free - from Steve Barnes a professor at UCLA. Great help for you and other screenwriters. Pax - C

Essentially, if you can't get a connection to an agent through networking, you're left with the same task unpublished novelists face: writing a query letter which so skillfully sells your screenplay that the agent asks to see it.

Be aware that the minor spelling and grammar goofs in your question here, which don't bother people at Yahoo answers, could mean immediate rejection in a query letter, since they suggest you do not yet write at a professional level.

For more about writing and marketing your screenplays, consider visiting IMDb's Shop Talk Writers board or AbsoluteWrite's Scipts forum.

It's the old Catch-22. In order to get published you need an agent, and in order to get an agent you need to be published.

The best thing you can do is query agents you accept unsolicited queries and see if anyone is interested. You can do an online search for agents, or you can look at a publication like Literary Marketplace or Writer's Market.
