No. My whole (original) family is a pack of idiots when it comes to learning to play intruments. My wife plays the guitar and piano and the kids are showing some ability or at least interest. I'm like a guy with two left hands when I pick up anything with strings.

I play the piano and can improvise on it as well. I sing great but my playing is more art than science--ok, it's a lot of showy octaves, runs and flourishes--Liberace without genius.
I used to play the baritone ukele--it happened because if your have ever tried to carry a piano to a nice party you'll know it's "heavy"?
Everything else I've just fooled with--harmonica, virginals.
concertina.
My choice to play would be the cello, the musical saw or the oboe, next lifetime...

I play piano and sing. I have had a deep love for music since I was 3. Actually, I would also like to learn violin, harp, flute, and several other instruments. Music is something that I really enjoy. :)

Flute and Piccolo for 17 years now. I also play alto and tenor sax, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, and the drums (the drums are just for fun and I'm not very good), but I'm classically trained on most woodwind instruments.
