Though I hate to admit it
Worst:
San Fransisco
MLB- Giants 63-77, 5th NL West they're just too old
NFL-49ers 7-9, 3rd NFC West they're on the raise but I don't think they can win with Alex Smith
Best:
Detroit
NBA-Pistons 53-29, 1st Eastern Central a packed with all-star caliber players year after year
MLB- Tigers 75-65, 2nd Central young team with great talent
NHL-Red Wings 50-19-13, 1st Western Central great goalie in Hasek
NFL- Lions 3-13 4th NFC North, QB John Kitna predicts 10 wins for them this season

Worst - I'd have to say Tamba Bay. The D Rays are, well they're the D Rays, The Bucaneers are back to being the Bucs of expansion ere, and the Lightning are a mid-level NHL team.
Best - Being a homer here, but I say the Detroit area. We have all 4 major sports. 3 were in the playoffs last year. The Shock look like they may win the WNBA yet again. Michigan football, even with the loss to App State, is a top 10 program almost every year, Michigan hockey is always top 10, the baseball team won regionals. Michigan State is a top basketball and hockey program.

WORST would be florida both of their baseball teams suck football is not much better and basketball not so great this past season with wade being hurt and shaq being old, Michigan is not having such a great time either after the whole app state win and the tigers falling fast out of the playoffs
BESTwould be cleveland the indians are on fire, the browns have no where to go but up and they have quinn and the cavs actually went somewhere in the playoffs

Well for MLB I'd say Chicago (for the worst) because of the Cubs but the White Sox usually are pretty good. So probably Texas with the Houston Astros and Texas Rangers as worst and for best, New York with Red Sox and Yankees.

anyone who says the Cleveland Indians suck must be a real punk. The Indians are on top of the AL Central by 7 and are one of the 3 best teams in baseball right now - they have one of the best records in the entire league. Cleveland has won a lot of championship football games but before it was called the Super Bowl for those lacking in their football history, while Minnesota has gotten to the big dance 4 times and lost all 4 times, and let's not forget the Buffalo Bills who could not buy a Super Bowl championship to save their lives. What about New Orleans? While it is painful to be a Cleveland sports fan, people just saying the teams suck are obviously not educated in what they are talking about. It is easy to say a team sucks. The Kansas City Royals suck, the Indians do not. Ask a Royals fan if they would like to trade places in the standings with Cleveland. I say KC is worst off city.

As of right now, i believe the city that has the worst teams is Atlanta. Although the Braves won 13 straight championships, they won only one world series back in 1994. They have the thrashers. The flacons with vick, and the dirty birds. And lastely, they have the Hawks...enough said there.
As for the best city, right now, you got to say detriot. The pistons are doing well, the shock are in the playoffs (but no one cares about the WNBA), they have the lions which i believe will do well this year. Also, the tigers are in the hunt for the playoffs.

Ohio has to be the worst state to be a fan this year. Ohio State being punked by Florida 2 times in a year. Indians and browns suck and the cavs got swept.
The New England area is pretty much on a roll with the Pats and Sox. Boston College is overrated so there is no real college presence there.
I'm in Atlanta and we kind of blow right now as well. Hopefully UGA and Ga Tech can raise the bar!
