Lactose is found in milk.
It is called milk sugar.
It is a disaccharide, which consists of one molecule of glucose and one molecule of galactose.

Lactose is a carbohydrate, and as such a disaccharide. One Molecule of lactose consists of one molecule each of two other carbohydrates, i.e. galactose and glucose.
