I went to the site and I have had people mention SSI and I didn't know if there's a difference between them?

SSI is only like $500/mo and only available to very low income people. SS Disability is when you are disabled and get paid from that fund a more substantial amount (well, bigger, but not substantial) if you meet having worked a certain number of quarters previously and have proved you are disabled.

SSI is basically welfare. Disability is just what it says and the amount you draw is based on what you have paid in.

Disability is paid out of social security but the qualification is a disability.
