I think it's ok to honk when they're facing the wrong direction, but I guess that'd be kinda awkward to be looking at the face of the person you just honked at.

It would be more than appropriate to honk at the person in front of you if they reversed towards you by mistake.

No reason to honk because they can't do anything, its the resturants fault. You should call the fast food place and tell them you are in the line and pissed.

Rarely...I've done it once before when the people ahead of me had food for about 5 people, and I saw that they'd already gotten all of their bags and drinks and condiments, but they proceeded to open and check every bag before pulling away. I honked at them and that's the only time I ever have.

well if they haven't moved from the pick up window and u saw them get their food and it's been more than 1 min. , i think i'd honk.
