Too Bad. John Travolta is going to DALLAS in his space ship and will play JR Ewing.
They are making it into a comedy. Not sure how bad that will bomb.

I think Julian McMahon would be better for JR we already know he can play the ultimate shady character.
Teri Hatcher has usually played strong characters and Sue Ellen was always the "victim". I think Hatcher would be better suited for Pamela.
I'd pick Carrie Underwood for Lucy.
Since Larry Hagman is still alive, it would be a hoot to have him as Jock Ewing.
I have no idea who would be a good Bobby, Sue Ellen, or Miss Ellie. Maybe Catherine Bell as Sue Ellen...Rosemary Harris could be a good Miss Ellie, but her characters, while strong and good at adapting, I just don't know...I have always thought Miss Ellie was tough and could dig in her heels in a fight.

however - I think that this movie is going to be definitely earning some Razzies after it is released.
Maybe worth a rental or cable viewing at best...
Is Hollyweird running out of original ideas or what?
