when did it become illegal to ask another adult for sex?if you want to prosecute someone for asking for sex or lewd behaviour go to any club where hundreds of offers are presented everynight and lewd behaviour..hahaha have you watched how some people dance?im not saying sex in a public bathroom is right but thats not what was happening here.it was reported craig touched the other guys foot with his but how did he know the other guy was gay and it was ok to touch his foot?answer is because the cop was giving him signals that he himself was gay and looking for sex thus making this a set up ,that is if craig really touched his foot.has anyone ever tried to see how far into the next stall youd have to stick your foot to touch the person next to you?thats right wayyyy to far so the cops foot was right next to the wall signaling craig he was looking for sex himself. as far as pleading guilty id rather pay $500 and be done than have to hire an attorney and pay thousands too.wouldnt you

from what i can see in the news paper hear on the radio and on the internet craig went into stall sat down did his bussiness got up to leave and got arrested for soliciting all based on a cop that said he made a couple of fuzzy gestures indicating he wanted sex.did craig say he wanted sex?i sex sting scam where they scare anybody into paying a bogus $500 ticket verses going to court and paying thousands more they cant afford.they made they mistake of nabbing someone who could afford to pay it but did so not to avoid the larger charge but to avoid the bother and the public hummiliation of trying to explain this lie.come on dont cops have any real criminals to apprehend?or better things to do rather than stake out a public bathroom?haha

First of all i don't think prositution should be a crime. Is craig guilty uh uh YA i think so and his speech didn't help him any. Do i care larry craig is gay no. However being a citizen of Idaho i do have a problem with craig's hypocrsicy

It does not really matter if he is guilty of a crime or not. He is an elected public official who ran his campaign and voted on a platform based on conservative moral values. Nobody is planning on sending him to jail or punishing him severely. He was a first time offender and will most likely get of very easy.
His senate career is and should be over though. He has falsely represented himself to the public and his own constituents. I would want him gone if I was a Idaho resident who voted for him.

BTW: You can be arrested and prosecuted for loitering for the purposes of soliciting a prostitute.

Any one could be caught in a sting trap and the fact one is there can make him appear guilty.Prosecuters can make a person guilty, and a person may never know what he is guilty of.
