If you sneeze, you sneeze. Someone may improv "Bless you" then you move on.

If you do not have a line, there is a pressure point directly under your nose, above your top lip where the ridge in your skin is. If you put pressure on that it will usually stop the sneeze in it's tracks at least for the time being. If you look into bright light however (sometimes unavoidable on stage) all best are off. Of course the audience may wonder why the heck you have your finger under your nose...

Try it!

Oddly enough, this phenomenon rarely occurs on stage. Science has yet to discover why, but actors on stage just don't sneeze. Actors on stage rarely hiccup, either.

Belching and farting, on the other hand, occur with appalling regularity.

If they have to sneeze they have to sneeze so they sneeze. Better out than in.

Sneezing on the actress you are about to kiss does not look very romantic though.

Try and hold it, but if it doesn't work, just sneeze and continue on with the scene.

work it into the script...sneeze, excuse yourself, if its still your line, keep going. no one will know. hopefully the other people in your cat will play along, maybe even throw in a "bless you" (= good question!

just don't get worked up about it and forget your next line. remember, sneezing is normal, it's what normal people do. and scripts are supposed to sound normal, so just work it into your script.
