About a year and half ago. I got a phone bill for my mobile phone. It ran up to 384 dollars. Because I didn't know I went over 200 minute of my usual plan.

The rocker did seven hundred dollars in two months! The first month was over 9000 minutes and the next over 10,000 minutes. He and the girlfriend now text until free minutes kick in...He also has paid both bills.

My first cell phone bill in 1993, $ 60 when had a $ 29.99 automatic just to have it and 60 cents per minute during peak hours and 25 cents per minute off peak hours. It doesn't sound like too much but I limit my use now.

I've done 250 quid in a month on my mobile... used to get bored sitting in the traffic on my way home from london.... My dad on the other hand has done over 700+ a month on his mobile. Mind you he does travel a lot..

when i was a teenager, i ran up a $960.00 phone bill...I got in soooooo much trouble from my parents!!!! Now i text a lot and my fiancee had to get me on a different plan for texting as i ran up the bill $180. in texting alone. ouch!!!!
