Ditto, cycles can vary from woman to woman. It can normally last between 3-7 days & shorter & longer from those days.
It wouldn't hurt to have a chat with your mom & ask her how long her cycle is & that you're worried about yours. Even though you don't talk to your mom about personal health issues, I think it's time to start & you'll feel better that you did.
This way you will know, what normal is for you & your cycle. :)

It's normal to bleed up to 7 days or more. I wouldn't worry about it unless you're bleeding a lot (like having to change pads every hour because of them being soaked with blood). Every woman's periods are different. Some may only have them for 2-3 days while some may have them for more than a week. Periods in one woman can even vary in length and heaviness of blood flow from month to month. I wouldn't worry too much about it...don't be afraid to talk to your mom though. She's been through this and can help you out. Hope this helps.

No, It's not too long...

I just got my period about 2 months ago, and as soon as I saw it, I told my mom (even though I was humiliated) and we don't talk about women's health either... she gave me some advice about it, and now when she brings it up, I get so annoyed (IT'S MY OWN FREAKIN BUSINESS)

but anyway, no, it's not too long and almost every time I go to the bathroom, I have to change too.

it sucks I know, and as a matter of fact, I just started my cycle again today, but I just have to deal with it.
