I'm going to guess John Schuerholz (sp) as the only GM to win the series in both leagues. KC & Atlanta

Nobody is the "only" one to do it. There have been two.

Sparky Anderson, and Tony Larussa

Anderson won with the Reds in 1975 and 1976, and then with the Tigers in 1984, making him the first to do it.

Larussa won first with the A's in 1989, and then again with the Cardinals in 2006. Larussa considers Anderson his mentor.
