I liked "Secondhand Lions" when the boy finds out that his uncles' tall tales were all true, and "As Good As It Gets" when Jack Nicholson surprises Greg Kinear by decorating his spare bedroom for him, after making it sound like he just stored his things there in boxes, and in the same movie when the "social worker" turns out to be the Chief of Cardiology.

What's yours?

Uh, The Departed with Jack Nicholson, Leonardo DiCarpio, Matt Damon and Mark Wahlberg. Nice ending. Didn't even see it coming.

It's a close call. My 1st favorite movie twist is from "Fight Club" where Edward Norton's character and Brad Pitt's character turn out to be the same person. My 2nd favorite is from "Sixth Sense" where it turns out that Bruce Willis' character is actually dead.

So many choices and will not say what the twist is for those who have not seen the movie. "Sixth Sense" "Seven"(great movie)
"The Boondock Saints" (amazing, great twist) "Man in the Iorn Mask" "Saw" How can I forget the classic "Psycho" "Silcence of the Lambs" I cant think of any more but all these are great movies with crazy twist endings. : )

The Village - where the 19th century community threatened by "monsters" turned out to be a "social experiment" hidden away from present day America, and Greed, where Kirk Douglas was "playing" each and every member of his family, right up to the final frame where he gets out of his wheelchair and walks away.

its got to be in saw 1 when at the end of the movie the man who you thought was dead all along was actually the main character and got up off the floor!! totally unexpected and really really good, as are all the saw endings for that matter!!

Usual Suspects, gotta love how it all went down with "Verbal." I was also really surprised and pleased with the end of Identity.
