Almost, but the equation must be balanced:
2HNO3 + ZnO ---> Zn(NO3)2 + H2O

Actually, do you mean ZnO (as in zinc oxide) or Zn0 (as in zinc metal). If it is Zn0 (which would make more sense) the equation is then:

2HNO3 + Zn --> Zn(NO3)2 + H2. That would be the oxidation of a metal by a strong acid
