That won't work, but no harm in giving it a try.

It would be possible to hate someone so much that you hated yourself to death.

Hate has a way of eating at the person who hates rather than the other way around.

Get some help!!!

Hey, it is possible to hate someone so much you wish you could stick needles in their eyes and torture them to death. There is NOTHING wrong with that and it is normal to have those thoughts as a child over minor things or as an adult, to feel those things about people that have degraded or hurt you.
Where it would go wrong is if you literally set your mind to DOING something to harm someone. That is when you could "hate someone to death" i.e.: if you did like Wanda Halloway and tried to hire someone to kill your daughters cheerleading competition and you were successful.
If you have those kinds of thoughts combined with plans of action, definitely get help!
If you hate someone so much, and can't quit thinking about it, that would be another good reason to get help.
Hope you don't "hate someone to death", literally.

The ONLY person who will be hurt by your hate is You.

Think of it this way;

Hate / Resentment is like taking poison and expecting the other person to die.

Live and Let Live Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You

Well, no not really, honestly I hope so too because I can make you a list of the people I hate but we just have to accept their existence, sucks I know but it's reality.

The hatred that you harbor for that other person is more likely to kill you than it is to kill them. Unless you you make a point of telling the other person that you hate him or her, he or she may never know your feelings, whereas that very same hatred could eat away at your insides and do things like driving your blood pressure up to a fatal level.

I'm afraid not. Unless your hate drives you to physically harm them.
