Why can"t I find a PCV filter for out chevy 2005 Tahoe,I have checked at auto part stores and they can't find one.

try washing the originl one out then blow it through with an airline,

Never heard of a pcv filter. There is a pcv valve that is located on the valve cover, usually. You shouldn't be needing a new one on an '05. Possible needs cleaned.

Probably because yours does not have one. Before my 83 Honda was total-led it did not have one. They had some thing else that took it place and i do not remember the name of what it was called. It was similar to a PCV and worked the same way.
