I am pregnant .my question is how will i know if my cervix is open or closed?
i have heard that if cervix is open then miscarriage can happpen.i dont know how to check if my cervix is open or closed.pls give me details abt it .

You need to ask your doctor this and have him/her examine your cervix.

Your cervix, unless you've had trouble with it before, will not open until baby's head is pressing down hard on it. Unless you see brown/red discharge, like a mucus plug which is keeping everything out of the cervix, you've got nothing to worry about.

right, I don't think you need to be checking your own cervix all the time.

don't worry about that, your doctor checks that not you.
also you shouldnt be worrying about miscarriage unless you are in bad pain and bleeding.
if you mess with your cervix you can cause yourself to spot
