I'll be in Yokohama and Tokyo from 9/10 to 9/18. And I wondering if there were any cheap things I could do while I'm out here. I already do know abt 100 yen shops and stuff I was looking more along the lines of sightseeing and stuff.

Head down on the train to Kamakura and visit the Dhaibutsu (big buddah). Lots of cheap noodle places neaby to grab a bite to eat too.

Go to Rappongi and look for the bars with sighns outside wanting native english speakers. Lots of Japanese businessmen want to practice their english and will buy all the food and drinks just for you conversing with them. There are a few around in Tokyo too if you look for them.

Definitely go to Kamakura. Take a ride on the Ferris wheel at minato mirai. Check out the Nippon Maru. Eat in Chinatown. Outfield seats for the Baystars are reasonably priced.

Walking is the cheapest thing you can do.. walk down by the water, around Yokohama Tower Hotel (I think that's what it's called...)

Also, I haven't seen it in a few years, but there was a BIG graffiti wall not far from there - actually it went along the bottom of a highway... very long, extremely interesting stuff. You'll probably even see artists working on it.

Japanese baseball rocks! The BayStars are at home while you are there. Don't miss it!
