fossil poop is coprolite. ( great gifts for little boys) an abnormal interest in poop is coprophilia. scatology is the study of animal poop, or 'scats'. i studied the diet of coyotes for awhile... it was really interesting. you never know what you'll find in their dessicated scats. yeh, i'm bored, and it's wet and cold outside....

My favorite is scat, which refers to an animal's dung. People who like to talk and joke about bodily functions are said to have a scatological sense of humor. Like me, and many others on this site.
