Im sick of these drive-thru workers! They ALWAYS get the order wrong! Im serious! They've never gotten my burger order right! I like a double cheese burger with lettuce and ketchup only so thats what i order each time. Then i open in and OH NO! They put 1 burger, no lettuce, mustard, pickels, and onions! I even saw on that screen (double cheeseburger, lettuce Ketchup ONLY) yet they are still too stupid :( Before you saw "just take it back" most of the time i dont realise until im home. Also before you say "just take it off" the flavor stays! No matter how much i scrub the burger and put new ketchup and lettuce on it it still tastes like mustard and pickels. How many times has this happened to you?

I agree 100%
I order a burger with no onion or ketchup... MOST of the time, its wrong... or wrong drink, nasty fries.. whatever.

We were actually in a McPuke's last night, and this one poor woman ordered a quarter pounder with only mustard... and she got 4 ... FOUR burgers all wrong... it took them 5 friggin tries to get the burger the way she wanted it...
Like how bloody hard is it??

I worked at McDonald's as a part time job in High school.. and honestly it's a damn easy job to do!
Laziness... thats what it is!!

This has happened to me several times also. I now have to check my order before I drive away to ensure they gave me my correct order. It's just mentality of the workers these places hire today. Yes, you do get a few good ones here and there but mostly they are kids and/or people who just don't care. Work ethic has gone out the window in this day and age and a lot of people just don't care and are not proud of their work. Another thing I hate is when they don't give you napkins or a straw at the drive-through window. When you ask for them, you get an attitude like you are bothering them. It's too bad people don't take their jobs seriously and do the best that they can. In the long run it will pay off for them. They will all find out the hard way though. Maybe some of them will finally realize it some day. My motto? Work as long and as hard as you can. You learn a lot, stay busy and the times go by much faster.

This happens ALL THE TIME to me too. I actually go to certain McDonalds because they seem to do a better job of not messing up the order.

I've also noticed that I have to order a double cheeseburger without cheese instead of a double hamburger (even then, I often get a double hamburger (with the cheese on it) when I pick it up).

Good luck for next time!

1. if the receipt/order is correct, it isn't the drive through persons fault. they took your order, took your $ and handed you a bag.
2. If the receipt is wrong, you probably need to speak up a bit.
3. Either way, they should be providing you with what you order, but in the end it's your responsibility to ensure you get the right order before you go home.

If you complain to Head Office you may well get a £10 (or the equivalent if you live on the Kindergarten Continent) Macdonalds voucher from them. If you take the time to complain, (don't bother complaining to the manager at the Macdonald or Macdonalds in question - they're normally not much above the intelligence level of the lowlife serving you your food wrongly) and phone Head Office, not only will it be treated seriously and you'll receive the voucher I mentioned, but you'll probably find your order will be correct when you go back to the offending Macdonalds next time.

If you don't inform them at the top, they won't necessarily know what's going on at all their different sites - works for me - try it!

every single time I go to wendys they get everything wrong with my order. I don't know how these people can even make it through a day of work if they can't one simple order right. I don't have that problem anywhere else. Of course you don't want to take it back, if you had time to take it back you wouldn't need fast food.

Ummm, Ok if this has happened so many times, i'll give you two suggestions:
1.) STOP GOING THERE
2.) take two seconds to check the burger before u leave the window.

Taco Bell is my big offender. Either I will have food missing or get regular tacos instead of the supremes I ordered.

The person who gives you your food isn't the person who bagged it. I agree. Double check it before you leave the window. If it's not right have them fix it . I refuse to be "parked" while they fix, so if I am asked to be parked, I ask for a refund.
