I got an MRI on my brain, it took about an hour and I have to tell you the truth I was terrified in the beginning because my whole torso and up was in a little tube which is pretty suffocating, it's so small that the pull down a little mirror so you can look out and not be afraid.
BUT if you're getting it on your knee then I'm sure you will be completely out of the tube and your leg will be the only thing inside, so Nope. It won't be scary.

No. But let me tell you, it's annoying becuase you can't move and when I got MRIs done they took about 45 minutes, and I have had A LOT. It doesn't hurt, and it's not scary. they actually usually ask if you wanna listen to music on the headphones. so not to worry, it's just annoying having to stay still for so long! they give you a minute or two in between each screening to move and relax though.

I even have had quite a few MRIs. they don't look to be frightening yet are slightly noisy. they are going to probable supply you a sequence of disposable ear plugs you may not have the I-pod in with you because of the steel in it. additionally, they don't furnish television, practice to be bored. How long it takes relies upon on what they're scanning for, and how nonetheless you may properly be. As for what's in contact. you will lay down on a table. The table will pass with the aid of a brilliant ring (photograph celebrity gate purely plenty smaller). they are going to then turn on the device to verify the knee in question.
