9/7/07. Did you get it figured out and did the teacher give you an A? Sorry I did not know it was for homework puposes.

Get all the like term together:

2x^2 - 2x - 3y - 2 + 2z^2 + 5z = 0.

Then complete the square on the x's and z's; the coefficient of y^2 is 0.

I'm not certain this is a sphere because of that. You didn't leave anything out, did you?
