Sometimes when I answer and submit, the anser totally dissapears. Yet, I retype the same answer and submit it again and it works. And once I submitted an answer and it said thank you for reporting, but I didn't report anything, finally it popped back to the question and I got my answer submitted. Have any ideas, is this the works of a troll?

Hi, Tex, I don't know. I was having trouble with it yesterday. It kept popping back to my profile instead of senior citizen site when I tried to answer. Completely screwed up yesterday, so I finally logged off. It does concern me because I had 11 messages in my bulk mail which is spam to me. I never have this much at one time.

You aren't the only one. So far, I just got on here and I hope everything will go okay.
I think we have a clever hacker of some kind. I actually got a piece of mail in my inbox with my own name as the sender. No way. So, I spammed it.

Best wishes. I miss Texas.

The one that surprises me most is that I am the first one to answer a question, by the time I click on submit, here there are all of 10-15 answers already there. Now I am not that slow....... or am I ? hahahhaha

Oh my! I'm sorry this is happening but, I have no clue as to why. I know that I answered and question yesterday and it deleted two points and said that I had removed an answer! LOL! I had answered a question...not deleted one! So, who knows?

I do hope you find out why as it would be very frustrating to keep retyping all your answers!

Check your cookie and other internet security settings.

Instead of retyping, have you tried using the back button? It might still be there.

I must say that I have never had this happen to me, but then again I use FireFox and Opera, and wouldn't touch Internet Explorer (which I assume you are using) even if they paid me.

There was a disclaimer on the Y!A homepage that they were doing upgrades on the site, maybe that explains it. I find that whenever the computer does something wonky like that it's because the site I'm using is getting some work done.

There are many strange happenings today.

When I tried to comment on best answers nothing worked. One best answer went poof. reappeared "as this answer has been removed" weird. I thought they removed an answer BE FOR it became a best answer. Oh well tis a busy category, needs to be refreshed I guess.

I've had a couple of weird things happen, and I've just exited all programs and rebooted. Smooth sailing afterward.

I think sometimes the machine gets weary and wants me to leave it alone. (I'm always fondling its keyboard and grasping the mouse about its waist.)

Maybe your mouse isn't calibrated correctly and you're accidently hitting the button next to the one you're mouse is on. Wish I could tell you how to fix it--I know it's possible!

You might see if your connection timed out. This was a problem yesterday. You might try to refresh.
