My fiance and I are both proud first time parents of twins, a boy and a girl who are 2. I am 21 and my fiance is 26. I love children especially babies and my fiance would like to try and have one more. However, I am really set that I do not want to have anymore children especially knowing we already have a boy and a girl which is a perfect instant family and also, the possibility that I could get pregnant again with twins. I am not trying to be selfish or arrogant, but we already have 2 beautiful children and I think that is a complete family. Anyone else been in this situation and have any answers or suggestions??

You are so young! Wait a few more years until your twins start school and then see if you change your mind about more children. That being said, don't marry him if you truly plan to never have more children. That's not fair to him and disagreements about having children is a HUGE problem in marriage.

This is something that is very personal and for you and your husband to decide on. Both of you need to be understanding of how each other feels. You are both still young and have plenty of time to have more children, maybe you just feel like you have enough on your hands right now and just aren't ready for any more kids. I would tell him that you might consider more children in the future, but that you want to enjoy the family you have right now. Good luck, I hope this helps!

tell him to wait 2 yrs and ask again. twins or not, its alot of work to have your kids 2-3 yrs apart. You and he have years of healthy fertility left, so there is always time to change your mind. Get an IUD so you can be protected long term form an unplanned pregnancy. Good luck
