All of this whole fiasco is based on money. Why spend millions when you can play your cards right and get the air time for free? I bet more people were watching Jay Leno that who watched the debate. I bet the canditates would be heard more if they did a stint on the next American Idol.
The way I see it......there isn't a need for multi-million dollars to campaigne if you have any imagination at all. Most of that money is to pay off someone.....not give them the ability to be heard.
Personally....I prefere the BBQ chicken to reach ME....than the 1000 plate specials for the elite.
I'll take the soap box to the fancy adds. I mean when you think about it.....some of our greatest presidents wouldn't have had a snowballs chance in todays world. When is the last time a president who was poor and lived in a log cabin made it to president? They prime these guys and fund them from birth just like the so called beauty pagents. Money shouldn't talk....people should. And they should, without the need for money to be able to do so.

His oncologist recommended he be seated instead of standing for the debate. Ill give Fred credit, he's definitely the "slick" guy in this race by keeping his face on the TV even in violation of Equal Air Time laws without spending a dime. Good for him since Ive heard his campaign bank account is less than expected. I just hope that he doesn't die in office if he is elected. Itll make sense to pay real close attention to whoever he picks as his VP given his disease. That lymphoma can be nasty.

Sadly, it says that he knows more people watch Jay Leno than Presidential candidates debate one another.

It's tacky, that's for sure. Made even tackier by the fact that while he was announcing on Leno the other GOP candidates were standing on a stage debating. This guy is one strange dude.
EDIT: Hillary didn't announce her candidacy on The View koala, but nice try.

nothing is wrong with comedy... the purpose to to be exposed to as many groups as possible.its easier to see a candidates personable side on those types of shows. the content of the interview is what matters

What better way to reach millions of people? Who cares how it is done? Saving his money for other things.
Funny how, no matter what they do, or how they do it, they can't seem to please anyone. Oh well, such is life in Politics.

gee he got millions of people watching him, he had time to respond to questions and he upstaged the debates. I think he understands the process a lot better than most.
I don't know if I back him yet, but he made a good impression on me.
