How easy is it for you to forget you have a toddler strapped into a car seat behind you? I,m shocked at the stories i hear about irresponsible parents leaving children in the cars while the parents go to work, go to whore houses, or go out partying. Some states have a law that say's You can not be proven guilty of wrong doing unless they can prove you intentially meant that child harm. What are your thoughts on this.?

It makes me SICK! Not only when they forget but when they leave their kids in the car for a minuet to run in a store or something. I have three 6, 4 & 3. When my youngest was born my oldest was 3. Um not easy going into places. But I did it and I do it. If I can't handle taking them in them I don't go. It amazes me that people watch their purses and wallets better than their kids.
Well THAT got me all worked up.☺ I love my kids.

It's not easy at all. When mine were little I knew I was in the car with a two year old. They're incredibly loud. Any one that leaves a child in a car should get the maximum punishment available. And any state that lets unfit parents get away with it by having lax laws should have to forfeit tax dollars or something. It's absolutely inexcusable.

I have little ones of my own. I can't believe that someone can forget that they put they're own child in the back seat of a car.
When I get out of a car, even on my own I glance inside when I'm closing the door. When it's done while doing something routine, such as going to work, how do you forget to drop you're child off at daycare. I think these people should be punished.

I think any idiot is guilty becouse anything can happen at anytime a child is left!!! i went to go pick up my daughter at school today and there was a little kid looked about 3 sitting in the front seat of the car with the car on(all alone)what was the parent thinking?????/

Some people have no business being parents. It just makes me so sick when I hear about those poor children being left to die in the car for hours on end. Our laws have dummy-ed-down to the point of stupidity.

A person like that ought to spend time in jail. Where I live near Birmingham, this young girl actually sold her baby to the crack dealer. It makes me mad just thinking about it - and yes I have a 6 year old son who is what I live my life for.
