Go read freedom for a penny's last question. He thinks we should just let them kill us, and if we don't we should be killed. He's a smart one.

Goldenrae9 - your answer is SO out of context as to be... disturbing.
I wrote something about this a while back:
The Left Proudly Resolute in Ignorance
Thursday, June 14, 2007 4:35 PM
When the next Islamic terrorist plot to disrupt our economy and inflict massive civilian casualties manages to slip through the nets of the DHS or the FBI, I have entertained the fantasy that maybe some of our Leftist liberal “friends” here in America will finally wake up to the realization of that which we face.
I am normally an optimist but I am afraid that the stiff-necked people of the Left will stand proudly resolute in their ignorance and denial. Some may have that light bulb pop on but most will probably blame it on President Bush and America and Christians and…
Still others will see it as an opportunity to loot and take shots at the police, like they did in New Orleans.

Yes, I think we're at a crisis point. Taking away basic civil liberties is a serious matter, because once taken away, it's almost impossible to get them back. As a rule, they don't get taken away by dramatic strokes, but rather eaten away, eroded. That's what Bush and company (read Cheney) are doing. The difficulty is that a lot of people simply don't care, either because they approve of harsh treatment of people they perceive as enemies, or because they simply use all their energy just getting through the day.
The people at the controls right now are ideologues, and if they have their way we will end up with some kind of unholy alliance of big business and Christian conservatism. Military-industrial theocracy isn't something I would like to live under.
... that said, it must be time for you to get back to doing what you're told

Well, a lot of very smart people have already figured out that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 and it has not made us safer.
No one with a mind and a soul wants another 9/11. Stop with the fear mongering. You really think having all our soldiers in Iraq is making us safer here?

Here's something better for you to wrap your mind around...#1: Why are'nt people still upset about 911?...#2: Why the H*LL hav'nt we found Bin Laden yet?...I mean I was once wanted by the law on a petty matter & they managed to track me down when even I did'nt know where I was...#3: Most important here!...Why is no-one asking "Who benefitted the most by 911?...any good investigator knows to find a bad guy...just follow the money! Think hard-retard!

It only took the intial 9-11 for me. I don't want to see a repeat, and know all those people lost their lives!
The bombings in Oklahoma, London, you name it, do you think those might have gotten to people, we are targets, so many people in other countries don't like us. We must be careful, and we must be as cautious about letting any outsiders in more so than before.

You're just a scaredy pants. Go cry somewhere else. We live in a tough world and being the most powerful country in that world we will always have enemies. That's no reason to pee your pants and run around scared and allow the government to manipulate you with their fearmongering.

I think everyone realizes that there are people who want to kill us. The question is what to do about that. We can't go invading every country that has some of its citizens that think that way.
Oklahoma City proved that we have some of "those guys" right here and they are home grown Americans.

The people of NYC realize how serious the threat is. That is why most of the voters here voted for Kerry.
Bush seems intent on helping the jihadists recruit more terrorists through his inane policies.

I think most people even after 911 think we are safe because this is America. But if we keep it so easy to enter our country as illegals then what makes it so hard for a terrorist. Every time I see a American Muslim I wonder what they are hiding under their robes...and I don't believe it is a silly accusation.
Come on I mean high school kids weren't allowed to wear backpacks as a result of Columbine...why haven't they taken action against their robe? I know it is their religion but their religion is why they want to kill us isn't it?

Unfortunately, some will never get it.
Florida has been over taken by Iranians. Muslims are converting American women, they are targeting them and converting them. They don't even realize how bad Muslim women are treated. They act like it's a new fad. This is insane!!
This country has gone to hell
They are implanting people with chips!!!
