Your best ebt isw to take it to a shop and have it prpfessionally cleaned, any home remedies (especially for a laptop) can result in more damage .
The thing about laptops, is that the motherboard is placed directly under the keyboard, you don't want to risk any of the coffe dripping through, and shorting out the motherboard.
If that happens you will have one very expensive door stop...:)

do not difficulty taking it to somebody to repair it. you basically have some sticky keys. Laptops are temperamental. Take the subject concerns keys off, the a million & ` or 4 & 5, and reinstall. interior the destiny, do not use some plenty alcohol/water on the keyboard and don't take the keys off back. solid good fortune.

First, I would do a search in Yahoo Answers as there's lots of answers to all sorts of scenarios of people spilling something on their keyboards.
How to clean my laptop keyboard after spilling something on it here: http://answers.yahoo.com/search/search_result;_ylt=Ak17XtyrTsPSh739eZwX6rMjzKIX?p=how+to+clean+laptop+keyboard&t=n-3098390192_q-qqCA.F2BHrHnN6Sr59zzlwAAAA%40%40&scope=&mc=&asktime=&sc=
If your laptop is still under warranty there's a good chance you can send it back to the dealer or manufacturer and get it cleaned free. But that takes time.
Most laptop keyboards do come off in one piece allowing you to then thoroughly clean them like pouring on some rubbing alcohol as it will remove any grudge and evaporate not damaging any of the plastic parts or components.
I would suggest getting some cue tips and dipping them into a rubbing alcohol and see if you can get in between the keys to clean them. A can of compressed air might help to get other dirt out of the key areas too.
I knew one guy who took his keyboard off his laptop and used his mom's steam cleaner on it and let it air dry. Worked fine the next day. I don't suggest that though, but it can possibly work.
Radio Shack makes a nice can of electronics cleaner for under $10.00. You can spray it anywhere. I got the link for you here: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?parentPage=search&summary=summary&cp=&productId=2102649&accessories=accessories&kw=electronics+spray+cleaner&techSpecs=techSpecs¤tTab=features&custRatings=custRatings&sr=1&features=features&origkw=electronics+spray+cleaner&support=support&tab=summary
Good luck to you!

get some cotton swabs( the ones for cleaning ears..) and get them moist try to absorb the yuck under the buttons (while pressing down the button next to it)
I've also heard that taking the covers of the buttons, the pieces with the letters are realtively easy... once a button popped out and I just had to pop it back in

I just take a lightly watered rag to the keyboad every so often, to get my sticky stuff off. It doesnt go through. Try that. It works, rather than having someone do it

Turn off your laptop, let it dry, it may become sticky again if humidity is high, let technician clean your laptop, to avoid any liquid penetrates in to the internal components of your machine...

I would suggest removing the keyboard if you know how and rinsing it from the back where needed with warm water and drying it with a blow dryer.
