The biased moderators of Fox News asked what Ron Paul would do in the midst of the bloodbath that is certain to occur in Iraq if the United States was to leave. USAElectionPolls.com says that the wording of the question was biased.
When Ron Paul says that they do not want us in Iraq, the commentator asked Ron Paul if he plans on taking his marching orders from Al Qaeda and Ron Paul replies as strong as ever "No!". He goes on to state that he will take his marching orders from the Constitution.
USAElectionPolls.com has recently published a report on the biased coverage of Ron Paul on Fox News. Commenters have already begun to critique it by saying that bias is even stronger than the web site's report states.
Sounds like a good campaign slogan to me.

fateridder> Do you like it? It was a little joke but I kind like it and easier to type too.
Doc> I have grown to respect what you say but this time I disagree. Paul was obviously attacked, plain and simple but he fired right back. He was asked only 3 questions the whole night. I would have been mad too.

Ron Paul is a smart man , hes putting himself in a position to be compared to a great man like Thomas Jefferson . The problem is he is going to constantly be talked down to and belittled because he is not following the " elites " plan step for step . Ron Paul's following is becoming bigger and bigger and him being on Fox News shows that no matter what major networks try to shut him up , he will come out on top and continually be talked about no matter how many times news anchors are told not to mention him . However Ron Paul winning the Presidency is really a long shot seeing as how he has to make at least 30 million by 2008 to be on Hilary's level and I don't see anyone giving him that kind of money .
Anyway why did you change your name ?

Ron Paul is without a doubt the most principled presidential candidate hands down.
He is probably the most knowledgeable.
I support Ron Paul tremendously because America is loosing itself. Special interests, socialism on one side - fear and war mongoring on the other and the American people wondering when the politicians will consider them.
Alot of our young Americans do not get the furvor about Ron Paul. They think it is crazy. But I tell you. Please, please get informed. The media is painting pretty pictures for you.
Its not much of choice when you are given the choices.
You ever wonder why the same candidates are all over the media, day in and day out. You ever wonder why Ron Paul and even some of the other candidates just never see the light of day on Big Media? There is a reason.
Get informed.
Ron Paul all the way.

It was a great response from a great man. Ron Paul doesn't just pay lip service to the Constitution like all the other candidates running for president. He abides by it as he has sworn to do so. Paul 2008

Stating that he would obey the Constitutional limits on his power was a good response. But in regard to the claim that he would thereby be taking his marching orders from al-Qaida, I can think of an even better answer.
The fact is that al-Qaida deliberately goaded the US government into invading and occupying Iraq. By doing so, they have led the US government to impose enormous costs on itself and the American people, getting its own soldiers killed and destroying the US's reputation with the rest of the world. The US government got into a quagmire it cannot find a way out of, as it itself generates the opposition to it. As al-Qaida had and has practically no presence in Iraq, this further costs al-Qaida next to nothing. (The US government also eliminated al-Qaida's enemy Saddam Hussein.)
Every serious analysis has come to this conclusion (e.g., CIA analysts), and in their internal documents the leaders of al-Qaida frankly admit that they wanted the US to invade Iraq and that they want the US to stay in the quagmire. The cite the Soviet invasion/occupation of Afghanistan as a past instance in which the same strategy led to the downfall of a superpower.
So it is actually Bush who takes his marching orders from al-Qaida, even if he wrongly believes that he is doing the opposite of what they want.

That response was excellent. It was 1 of the few highlights of the night. The "fair and balanced" moderators were attacking him all night. Every time he was asked a question 1 of the morons would laugh. He carried himself well despite the constant attacks they made against him. The objective from the start was to attack Ron Paul and ridicule him. I went to the news channels website (I am so disappointed that they are so biased I won't watch them ever again and I won't even say their name)this morning to see if I could find the results of their text message poll and I could not find it. Paul must have won that one too. That idiot hannity was trying to denigrate the man during the post debate broadcast.
I have read some of his papers and I think he would make an excellent president. It is too bad that most of the people of this country have to have someone else (the media) do their thinking for them or there would be more people supporting him.

I watched and got a totally different opinion. However, I am a Republican. Ron Paul doesn't even begin to sound a like a Republican. In fact I would think of him as being anti-Republican. You can thank the Republican party that he had any chance to be heard at all.

I'm just not motivated to look into Ron Paul, I know a little bit about his background, but its just obvious he won't get above 1% point and he's a republican and im not a republican anymore.
I tried watching the debate to try and watch more of the other candidates and only saw one paul answer last night cause i watched it too late.

I recently went to a web site that showed the voting record of all the Republican candidates. He doesn't vote like a Republican. There is also another web site (I can't remember what it was called) that had some information about his religious connections that made me question his qualifcations. I think it is very difficult to know what to believe in this upcoming election.

i agree his stand point on U.S. problems is strong- and we should be standing by the constitution. But that's all he offers! He is quick to point out problems, but has no sane answer on how to change them! what's done is done, we need a President that will clean up the mess we made, not leave it for someone else. It's irresponsible, and will cause us more problems in the long run. Not saying that we should stay in Iraq until victory- but not just up and run away, leaving someone else to clean up after us! Ron paul, wants us to show the world that when things get over our heads, we take the money and run- that's gonna make people hate us even more than they do now- and then while he's caused even more animosity toward our country, than he wants to take out essential programs that help to ensure our safety- like FBI, and CIA because of budgets! this guy is talking crazy and he is going to get ALL of us killed if he gets elected! there are onther candidates who are willing to get us out of the war in Iraq without jeopardizing our lives here!

Quit whining. If he doesn't like the moderation on Fox than pull a Fred Thompson and don't show up. No body is forcing him to join. If he didn't show up people would whine about him not being at the so called "debate". It wasn't a debate but a Q and A session. Face facts now or later take your pick. Your god Ron Paul is a L O S E R. He very likely won't even get 10% of the GOP vote in the primaries and caucuses let alone think of having any chance of getting the Nomination. Even Republicans aren't that stupid.
