Any ideas on new and exciting crafts for local craft fair.?

I am looking for new ideas, just started making headbands and purses...although I have yet to master them, I enjoy it!

You're on the right track. When it reaches the point that your friends are asking you to make some for them, then you know your stuff is good enough to sell.
