My first reaction is anger. Then, depending on circumstances, I may modify my feelings.
It hurts me too, if somebody I care about is dishonest with me.
You asked about feelings, but I also want to mention that if somebody is dishonest and not sorry about it, I protect myself from potential dishonesty after that. Sometimes I simply drop the friendship altogether. This is not a punishment; I simply feel that I don't have to allow that into my life. It depends on how serious the offense was. Obviously some lies are more harmful than others.

If they mislead me to trust in them, and they betray my trust, I feel embarrassed, disappointed and dimwitted for not knowing that they were being dishonest. If I catch them being dishonest, that's a whole other story. And, it ain't pretty, I do not like being deceived or lied to. It's one of the lowest forms of conduct, and it is so gauche.

Angry and disgusted. I despise people who can't just come out and tell the truth. I'm not talking about being rude, but people who will tell you some tale when the truth is just as easy. Like people who think it's rude to say they don't want to do something, so they'll lie and make up some story. I always find out and I HATE being lied to over something stupid.

If they are a friend ,disappointed, angry sometimes. But you got to be able to forgive to some extent depends how bad they betrayed you.Talk it out with them not fight and you will now why and how good of a friend they really are.If it is a person you don't know forget about it and move on,there are to many worthless people to worry about.

I make no judgments about why they may not have been completely honest and that relieves me of having to be burdened with any negative emotion or thought whatsoever.

This essentially results in a stress-free and happy existence.

I do unto others as I would have them do unto me.

It makes me feel like I don't even know them anymore. I also feel sad that we can't be open and honest with each other. I don't like being friends with people that lie.

they get ejected from my circle of friends, and if they are not in my circle of friends they stand no chance of getting there, all the people who know me know this, so if someone who knows me wants to be my friend they already know what is expected of them, honesty.
