what's the best methos to move all my belongings (motorcycle, car, furniture) from cincinnati to san diego?

From numerous moves across country, I can tell you that the best thing to do is get rid of everything and get new stuff when you get to where you are going.

After the labor and cost of a truck, gas etc, that $1 item you packed and shipped now cost you about $14 and may not suit your new place when you get there or may be broken upon arrival.

Put a small trailer on the back of your car, haul the motorcycle and only the items you CANNOT live without or replace, such as alarm clock, a lamp, your music and videos, photos, important papers, some bedding and collectable nic nacs.. get rid of all large furniture items.
Sell it all and it will lighten your load, save a tremendous amout for gasoline, give you more mobility and maybe help pay for the trip.

Depends on how much stuff you have.

Rent a truck (uhaul) and load the furniture etc.. in the front, put MC in the back - strap it down with load ties. Haul the car behind the truck on one of those car carriers that lifts the front wheels off the ground. This would be the cheapest.

If you don't have room for the MC inside the truck, rent a trailer to carry both the car and MC behind the truck.

Do not tell the company your renting the truck from that you plan to put an MC inside of it.

Last resort, pay a vehicle hauler to move the car & MC. You can find adds for them in most MC magazines.

Usually get your family to help you move the cars and motorcycles. For the furniture, try to find some movers that can travel that far that's near you.
