I am 27 weeks pregnant. When I was like 4 weeks I started spotting (sometimes red and sometimes brown). It lasted until I was 12 or 13 weeks along. I went to the Dr. several times and they tested my HCG levels and did exams ... everything was fine. There was no explanation as to why I was spotting. But it was the scariest thing ever!! The only thing the Dr. said that helped me was to lay on the couch with my legs propped up as much as possible. All I can say is just relax - no matter whats happening its out of your hands. Oh and also while I was spotting I asked Yahoo answers for anyone who had expenrienced this...well 90% of the people who answered me were totally mean saying I needed to get off the computer and get to the hospital because I was having a miscarriage and stuff. They were so wrong! So take what you get on here to much to heart. Best of luck!

I'm not sure, but I've heard of women spotting in early pregnancy. That's why some women don't find out they are pregnant until months later, because they thought they were still having periods.

My husband and I have been TTC our first child for 25 months. I was going to take a HPT, but I've been spotting for a few days now, so I figured I wasn't pregnant. However, it has not turned into full flow. Let me know what it turns out to be please!

Also, it may be too much information, but what color is your spotting? Brown, Red, Pink?

Bleeding in early pregnancy is not normal and always needs to be evaluated by an OB/Gyn. Any spotting or bleeding is called a threatened miscarriage.

it happened the same to my neighbor. she started spotting from her very 1st visit to the doc till almost a month. the spotting became more heavier. she thought that she might loose the baby but the doc said that it was pretty normal for some ladies. but still get a check done from ur doc.

Spotting is considered normal in pregnancy. As long as it does not turn bright red or start flowing heavily you should be ok. If you are real worried call and schedule a doctors appointment.

Sometimes it's normal, but I'd check with a Dr. It normally doesn't last for days like that. It could be an early miscariage, but just to make sure I'd take it up with a professional!

I would contact your OBGYN. There are people that have had bleeding during their first trimester and were fine. Unfortunately, If it is followed by cramping and bleeding then it could be an early miscarriage.
