Obesity. Look around, there are so many overweight people these days. Unfortunately, i'm sure suicide is right up there also :-(

I think it depends. Suicide is the number one killer of college kids, but obesity causes deaths of all ages so I think it is probably close.

In absolute numbers, I'm sure it's obesity.

I recently lost a friend who more than likely died as a result of being very overweight. He was only 50.

well, the talk lately is that Americans are larger than any other country. so if you look at that and the health issues that come with being over weight (ex. diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol, etc.) you should come to your own conclusion.

DEFINITELY obesity, since it directly contributes to the top three causes of death in the U.S. (heart attack, stroke and diabetes).
