ok I get that but insurance in the mix because my parents are paying for that what would be the best way to lower that no matter how much I have to pay to the city

your ticket isn't gonna get lowered the best hope would be ask for the points to be dropped if any the price isn't gonna be dropped just please slow down cuz you will end up like my bf 21 and have 10points on your lic. he can't get insurance threw anyone but geico w/ out it being over 300 a month

Pay it unless you have proof (and I mean good proof) that it was issued in error. Did the officer reduce the speed? Usually if you're actually going 58 they may drop it to 51 to drop the number of points and reduce the fine.
If you're a smartass they may raise it.
Next time try a sob story and ask for a warning.
