N.Americans, as a whole are more uptight about their bodies - plus there is the obesity thing.

Americans are so Homophobic that's why. European men great each other with an air kiss on the cheek but in America that's a no no. I love Brazil & Europe

Can and want to are two different things.
I would not consider a thong bathing suit but I have worn thong underwear numerous times.

Some of us do wear thong underwear. I wouldn't wear it at the beach, and I'm fairly certain that everyone is happier that way.

we're more obsessed with our penis size, me thinks. Even though I am not a tiny guy, i dont want everyone to see the size, shape, and current disposition of "Louie" at any given time. Europeans don't care, or actually want people to see. We still have Puritan fears after all these centuries.

probably more a obese thing, besides my undies are thongs!
as for swimwear in public pools with the liberals in control I doubt it. but i've seen guys in thong bathing suits,........and a lot less!

this country was founded by puritans, and historicaly that wasn't that long ago, so we still have weather you'r a descendant of them, christian or not there's still a remnant of that culture in most of us, besides it's common knowlege that men who hangout dressed like that aren't just lookin' for ladies, if you know what i mean....
