The Anbar region is more peaceful, admits Senator Schumer. But he says the reason is the US military is failing, so the locals are going it alone.

The question, was there going to be a scenario that Senator Schumer thought was successful? I realize if the fighting got worse, he would say it is a failure. But for it to be more peaceful and that is a result of failure, I don't get it. Please explain.

There is no explanation other than this - for the Dems, everything the President does is wrong. Fighting breaks out, the President has failed. Peace breaks out, the President has failed.

Now of course, the President wasn't mentioned by the Senator, only the military. But the Senator doesn't mind saying bad things about the military. That way he is also taking a shot at the Commander-In-Chief, who is the President he thinks can do no right.

So even if he has to malign our troops to speak ill of the President, well nothing is too low for the Senator. Congrats New York, you have a couple of beauties.

Schumer is an ardent proponent of what has become the unfortunate, but popular tactic among Democrats:
minimize the success of America's military while at the same time aggrandizing--or even fabricating--their missteps.

Remember Murtha's press conference calling those Marines and Navy corpsman "murderers"?

That rat has yet to apologize.

The manner in which the larger Democratic Party operates is despicable.

Senator Schumer is a big mouthed idiot. Always has been. I'm surprised he and Senator Clinton haven't proposed strict gun control for Iraq. That would solve the entire problem.

Schumer is simply a traitor who is bent on the defeat of this country, simply so Democrats can win back the White House. I don't make this accusation lightly, but with his rhetoric, that's all that it really can be.
He called our military incompetant, stupid. He called them failures. Not the politicians failures, the troops. This guy needs to get the heck out of our government, the heck out of the country.

Schumer is a piece of garbage. I was listening to what he said on Rush's show today and I almost had a heart attack. There are no cuss words, no insults, nothing that can convey what the Democrats have become in recent years. They make me sick.

There is no scenario out there that the Democrats want to admit which will show a success to this war or our effort to bring democracy to the Middle East.

That is their political spin even if they set up a Republic and everyone was happy he would say it was a failure because it cost to much.

Review logical fallacies.
