You really need both. Sorry if you were expecting a 'buy this or that'

What kind of ram do you have? Prices vary drastically between RDRAM and DDR ram. (I doubt you have ddr2 compatible ram with an AGP mobo)

If you need ddr ram, go with
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231036

if your mobo can handle 1gb dimms or just search www.newegg.com for 'ddr pc 3200 memory' and get what is in you're budget

Go with
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231036 for the graphics card if you're on a budget..

Just under $100 :) and you usally get next day!! (if you live on east coast with cheapest UPS shipping method)

If you need rdram, buy on ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/New-SAMSUNG-Dell-8100-8200-PC800-512-Rdram-2-x-256-RIMM_W0QQitemZ250159555692QQihZ015QQcategoryZ11152QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

(and that's CHEAP for rdram.. hope ya have ddr)

I'm assuming you have 4 slots (2x128 + 1x256 + 1 free)

I'd recommend replacing the 128's and going with at least 1gb total (2gb if you plan to go vista or for serious gaming)

1gb and the 256 card under XP should be good enough for battlefront 2.

Hope this helps :)

[[[EDIT]]]

Didn't notice the 55 pounds, so shipping might be more from newegg to UK. Just shop around for the best prices, and ebay will save you almost 50% on rdram, so pay the extra $10 or whatever for shipping instead of going some uk store.

For gaming you really need both. If I had to pick just one I would go for the graphics card.

For general computing get the memory.

For battlefield. You'll need to buy both. For overall computing- get the ram.
