Pure synthetic diamond (made of carbon) has the highest thermal (heat) conductivity of any known substance. Silver, copper, and aluminum also have high thermal conductivities.

Silver has the highest electrical conductivity, with gold and copper also faring well.

Silver, gold, copper. those with lots of available conduction band electron. Usually, we use copper wire b/c its a lot less expensive than Ag wire.

Of course, for some applications, such as the ice melting elements on a car window, you wouldn't want Ag anyway, as they work by resistive heating.
